OVERNIGHT kayaking ADVENTURE!

 

Join Quadra Island Kayaks for two full days of scenic sea kayaking and a night of splendid camping! Enjoy the exciting wildlife and delicious meals on our Discovery Islands Overnight Adventure. This is a no fuss, no muss one night kayak camping adventure. No experience necessary. Single or double kayaks available.

$299 plus tax per person.

Included: your charming guide, all kayak equipment necessary, tents, sleeping pads, lunch and dinner day one, breakfast and lunch day two.

 

 

What to expect:

Day One: 8:00 am meet your guide at the “Yak Shack” over fair trade locally roasted coffee. Plan your trip. There are several options of routes to discuss. This is a time to finalize any questions and get to know one another. Time to gear up and get boats packed. After a kayak lesson on the dock, you will certainly enjoy launching from our carpeted kayak ramps! Paddle out to the Breton Islands for a picnic lunch and a visit with the resident colony of playful harbour seals. An afternoon paddle brings us to our camping destination of choice early enough to enjoy the set up and relaxing evening time before dinner.

Meals will be cooked by your charming guide.

The possibility of an evening paddle with bio-luminescence under the stars awaits!

 

Day Two:

Your leisurely morning includes a delicious and satisfying breakfast accompanied by fine coffee. We will pack up camp and get ready for another great day on the water. Options abound for interesting routes to meander our way back through this magical coastline with scenic mountain views. Lunch on day two included. We should return to the Yak Shack in Heriot Bay by late afternoon… just in time for dinner reservations.
